Why are liquid forms superior to tablets?
Liquid supplements do not need to be dissolved by the body, in fact, absorption of liquid supplements begins in the mouth. Tablets are estimated to offer between 10-40% absorption, while liquids are estimated to offer 80-90% or higher. Are the amounts in Daily Multiple enough?
This is a common questions that is based on the assumption that liquids and tablets have the same rate of absorption. If a liquid absorbs twice as well as a tablet, then that amounts on the liquid's label can be doubled for comparison.
Why are there preservatives in the products?
Because of the nature of liquids. Liquid supplements without preservatives would spoil before hitting the store shelves. Also, Aloe Vera juice of any quality requires preservatives to remain fresh. There is no way for Liquid Health to make their supplements without preservatives (they have consulted a number of biochemists in an attempt to do so) They use potassium benzoate which is the potassium salt, not the sodium salt, or benzoic acid.
